Boxers Pictures - What are They Like?

Boxers are valued for their appealing appearance and outstanding personality qualities. According to the first breed standard the Boxer had to make a good working dog. Indeed, his devotion to the owner and his family, vigilance, and courage made the Boxer a good guard dog. The dog is very amiable with the family, yet rather suspicious toward strangers. It is playful during play, yet bold and resolute in the case of danger. In fact, Boxers are the darlings of any family.

They are well suited for people of different ages and do not require too much care. A few daily walks are OK for them as they cover the breed's exercise needs. The dog is very trainable and intelligent.

Boxers are quite independent dogs. They do not need constant owner's attention and will not bother their owners when they are too tired or busy to play with the dog. Yet, the dogs enjoy being around people and thrive on attention and love. They are also good with other pets. A good trait of the breed is that it does not display excessive dominance. Thus, Boxers are rather easy to train and obey the commands of their owners showing no resistance.
